Sokoban Warehouse is crate pushing with a move budget. Shove every crate onto a painted bay and the level ends — but you can only push, never pull, so a crate against a wall is finished. What makes this version different is that the budget is measured, not guessed: each level allows the length of its reference solution times two and a half, plus ten moves. Run out and the run is over.
Controls
- Move — Arrow keys or WASD
- Tap — Tap in a direction from the worker to step that way (touch)
- Undo — U, refunds the move and the budget it cost
- Restart — R, reloads the level
Tips & Tricks
- 1The budget is derived, not fixed: it is the reference solution's length times 2.5, plus ten. A level whose solution is twelve moves gives you forty, so the allowance shrinks in proportion as the puzzles get longer.
- 2Undo is free in both currencies — it gives back the move and the budget point it took. Scouting a push to see whether it dead-ends costs nothing as long as you take it back.
- 3Only a push that a crate actually blocks is a wasted move. Walking into a wall is refused outright and costs neither a move nor budget.
- 4The counter on the HUD is your move count, not a points total, and the budget beside it is what is actually running out. Twelve levels, and the run ends the moment the budget does.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many moves do I get?
It depends on the level. The allowance is the length of the authored solution multiplied by 2.5 and rounded up, plus ten moves. The HUD shows what is left, and hitting zero ends the run rather than the level.
How many levels are there?
Twelve, played in order, and reaching the end of the twelfth wins. Each is a fixed ASCII map with its own authored solution, so a level plays the same way every time rather than being regenerated.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes, by tapping in a direction relative to the worker: the component turns the tap into whichever axis you tapped furthest along. Undo and restart have no touch control, so a phone can move but cannot take a move back.
