How to Play
Rope Cut is a browser physics puzzle. A candy hangs from a rope anchored at the top. Swipe across the rope to cut it — the candy swings with gravity, bounces off platforms, and must land in the hungry monster's mouth below.
Collect golden stars as the candy falls for a higher rating. Avoid red spikes — they end the level instantly. Wooden platforms bounce the candy, helping you reach tricky mouths or dodge hazards.
It is lightweight and designed for quick browser play. There are 15 handcrafted stages on a 400 by 520 field, with the candy 14 units across — small enough that a single degree of arc decides whether it clips a star or misses entirely.
Each level gives you exactly one rope and one cut. There is no second attempt within a stage, so the puzzle is entirely in reading the swing before you swipe.

Tips & Tricks
- 1Watch the candy swing before you cut — timing matters more than speed
- 2Cut near the anchor for a longer swing; cut low for a quick drop
- 3Platforms bounce the candy — aim your cut so it lands on the pad first
- 4Stars are optional but boost your level rating up to 3 stars
- 5Spikes only need a glancing hit — give them a wide berth
- 6Level 1 is a straight drop — use it to learn the swipe gesture
- 7Long ropes (High Anchor, Final Swing) need patience — wait for the arc
- 8The candy is only 14 units across on a 400-wide field, so a swing difference of a couple of degrees changes which star you collect
