How to Play
Road Hopper is a traffic-and-river crossing game. Guide the frog upward through moving cars and across floating logs to reach the goal row.
Cars move on road lanes, while logs carry you over water. Falling in water or hitting a vehicle ends the run.
The course is 540 units tall on a 40-unit grid, and the lanes are fixed: five river rows on top with drift speeds of 1.5, 2, 1, 1.8 and 1.2 alternating direction, then road rows below running at 2.5, 3 and 2 and faster. Your frog is 25 units, slightly smaller than one grid cell, which is why a half-cell misalignment is usually survivable on logs but never on roads.
Because river and road lanes alternate direction, the safest crossing is almost always a diagonal: you are moving against the flow on one lane but with it on the next.
