How to Play
Gravity Tunnel is a browser space-tube runner. Your runner moves forward on their own; you jump and drift. The tunnel is a square tube and every few seconds the whole tube rotates 90 degrees, so the wall beside you becomes the floor under your feet — each of the four surfaces keeps its own layout of gaps, blocks and crystals. A black gap under your feet ends the run unless you are mid-jump; grey blocks kill unless you jump over or drift past them; teal crystals are worth 15 points each and distance in metres is the rest of your score. You start at 3.4 units per second and gain 0.02 per metre up to 7.5, so the tube gets seriously twitchy past 150 m. Rotations are scheduled every 3.4 to 5.5 seconds and the game never rotates you onto a surface with a gap in the landing stretch, so a switch is never an instant death — but what you do in the next second is up to you.
Controls
- SPACE or tap — jump
- A / ← or ◀ — drift left
- D / → or ▶ — drift right
- Swipe left / right (touch) — drift one step per swipe
- P — pause
Tips & Tricks
- 1Watch the next rotation: after the tube turns, read the new floor before you jump
- 2Crystals sit off the centre line — only detour when the floor ahead is clear
- 3Blocks can be drifted past as well as jumped; lateral movement is often safer
- 4Past 150 m, jump earlier — the tube speed eats your reaction window
- 5A rotation never lands you on a gap, so use switch moments to breathe and re-centre
- 6Jump covers about three cells — jump late rather than early over wide gaps
Frequently Asked Questions
How do the wall runs work?
Every few seconds the tube rotates 90° and the surface beside you becomes the new floor. Each surface has its own hazards.
What kills a run?
Running into a black gap while grounded, or clipping a grey block. Crystals are safe.
How is the score calculated?
One point per metre plus 15 points per crystal.
Can a rotation kill me?
No — the game checks the landing stretch of the new floor and postpones the rotation if a gap is there.
How fast does it get?
From 3.4 up to 7.5 units per second as your distance climbs; past 150 m it gets twitchy.
Is there an end?
No — the tube is endless. Chase distance and crystal count.
