How to Play
Mahjong Solitaire uses 144 tiles stacked into the classic turtle layout. Two tiles can be removed together when they match and both are free. A tile is free when no tile sits on top of it and either its left or its right side is open. Circles, bamboos and characters match within their own suit and number; the four winds and three dragons match identical faces; any flower matches any other flower and any season matches any other season. Every board is dealt by removing pairs from a full layout first, so it is always possible to finish. Choose today's board for a layout that is identical for every player until midnight, or a random board for a fresh deal every time. If you get stuck, Shuffle re-deals the tiles that are left and Hint points out a matching pair.
