How to Play
Jade Connect is a tile-matching puzzle. Click two identical open tiles to remove them if they can connect with a path of up to two turns. Clear all pairs before time runs out.
Tiles must be free on at least one side. Plan paths before the board gets crowded.
The board holds 18 pairs — 36 tiles — and you get two minutes to clear them. A tile is only removable when nothing sits on top of it and at least one of its left or right edges is open, so a tile sandwiched between two neighbours is locked until one of them goes.
It is a free puzzle with no wagering of any kind: nothing is staked, and nothing can be won or lost beyond finishing the board.
Controls
- Click matching tiles — Remove a free pair
- Restart — New shuffled layout
Tips & Tricks
- 1Remove tiles that block many others first
- 2Look for pairs that open the center of the board
- 3Watch the timer — don't stall on one hard pair
- 4Scan for identical symbols in corners early
- 5A tile only needs one open side, not two, so edge and corner tiles are almost always available — farm them when stuck
- 6With 36 tiles in 120 seconds you have roughly 3 seconds per pair, so any single search past ten seconds has to be paid for elsewhere
- 7Clear tiles sitting on top of the stack first: every removal is also an unlock, and unlocks are the real currency
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes a tile free?
At least one side (left or right) must be open, with nothing on top.
How long is the round?
Two minutes to clear all pairs.
What kind of puzzle is this?

How many tiles are on the board?
36 tiles forming 18 matching pairs.
Can a tile be blocked permanently?
No. Every tile becomes free eventually as the tiles above and beside it are removed.
Do I need both sides open?
No. One open side is enough, which is why tiles at the edges of the layout are usually the easiest to clear.
