How to Play
Fly Bird is a one-button flight game on a 400x500 play area. Your bird never moves forward under its own power ā it stays at a fixed horizontal position while the sky scrolls past at 150 pixels per second. Gravity pulls it down at 1,040 pixels per second squared; each tap, click or Space press resets its vertical speed to 365 pixels per second upward.
Gates arrive every 1.55 seconds, which at that scroll speed puts about 232 pixels between one gate and the next. Each gate leaves a 146-pixel vertical opening, and the bird itself is 28 pixels tall, so you have roughly 118 pixels of slack as you thread it. You score one point per gate cleared.
Nothing speeds up: gravity, flap strength, scroll speed and gate spacing are identical from the first gate to the hundredth. The run ends when the bird hits a gate frame or the top or bottom edge, and your best score is kept in this browser.
