Lane Defense drops creeps at the start of a winding path and they march toward your base. Build towers on the empty tiles so they never get through. Five towers answer different threats, and none of them wins alone: Arrow is cheap and fast but only chips armoured creeps; Mortar lobs splash damage into clumps and is weak against a lone boss; Frost deals no damage yet slows the pack and breaks armour, which is what lets everything else hurt it; Chain arcs through up to four bodies and ignores armour entirely; Venom poisons tanks so the damage keeps ticking. Tap a tower in the palette, then tap an open tile to build; tap a tower you already own to spend gold upgrading it. The NEXT line above the buttons tells you what the coming wave contains, so check it before you spend, and the target chip cycles First / Last / Strong priority. Clearing a wave banks gold and score; tap Start Wave early for a bonus, and the 1x chip in the top right doubles the pace from wave to wave. Your base has limited HP: every creep that slips through costs a point, and when it hits zero the run ends with a note on what broke through.
Controls
- Tap a tower in the bottom palette to select it
- Tap an empty tile beside the path to build that tower
- Tap an existing tower to upgrade it with gold
- Tap Start Wave to call the next wave early for a gold bonus
- Tap the target chip to cycle First / Last / Strong priority
- Tap the 1x chip in the top right to run at 2x speed
Tips & Tricks
- 1Frost first, Arrow second: breaking armor is what makes armored creeps killable
- 2Cluster Mortars near bends where creeps bunch up for splash value
- 3Upgrade a tower instead of spreading thin — a leveled tower out-DPSs two weak ones
- 4Call the next wave early to bank the prep-time bonus gold
- 5On Ruthless you start with less gold and fewer base HP, so prioritize one strong lane
- 6Watch the base HP ring — a leak of one small creep still chips your defense
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't my arrows hurt the armored creeps?
Armored creeps shrug off Arrow damage until a Frost tower has slowed and broken their armor. Build Frost in range of where the armored wave passes, then let Arrow finish them.
What does the Frost tower actually do?
It deals no damage, but it slows every creep in range and strips their armor for a moment, which is what lets your Arrow and Mortar towers finally deal full damage.
How do I get more gold?
Each wave you clear pays out gold and a score bonus, and starting the next wave early converts the remaining prep time into extra gold.
What ends the run?
Your base has a fixed HP. Every creep that reaches it removes a point, and once HP reaches zero the defense falls and the run ends.
Are the waves endless?
Yes — waves scale forever, with a tougher boss every fifth wave and armored variants appearing from wave ten, so the challenge keeps climbing.
Which difficulty should I pick?
Relaxed gives the most starting gold and base HP for a relaxed build, Standard is the baseline, and Ruthless is the hard mode with the tightest margin for mistakes.
